Jane is an Irish professional freelance violinist based between Vienna and Dublin. She performs regularly with the National Symphony Orchestra, Irish Chamber Orchestra, RTE Concert Orchestra, Wexford Festival Opera and Irish National Opera, and has also performed with ORF Radio Symphony Orchestra as part of WienModerne Festival in Vienna.


She has appeared as soloist with the RTE Concert Orchestra on a number of occasions, making her debut with them in 2016 in the National Concert Hall, has performed as soloist at the Carthage International Music Festival, is an RDS Rising Star and has been a recipient of many awards including the Lyric FM Bursaries, winner of the Maura Dowdall Concerto Competition, Colin Staveley Award for Best String Player 2015 and has appeared as soloist with ensembles around Ireland and abroad. 

Jane has performed with orchestras and ensembles in concert venues such as Musikverein Vienna, Shanghai Expo, Carnegie Hall New York, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Tonhalle Zurich and is soon to play in Bikaner House and India International Centre, New Delhi. Festivals include Kilkenny Arts Festival, Dublin Fringe Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, West Cork Chamber Music Festival, National Concert Hall Series, Body and Soul and Another Love Story and she has worked with conductors such as Giandrea Noseda, Jorg Widmann, Gabor Tacaks, Natalie Stutzmann, Sergio Alapont and Maxim Vengerov.

Jane is an active playing member, Collaborative Projects Manager and recently appointed Co-Director of chamber ensemble, Musici Ireland, as well as a core member of the contemporary music group, Kirkos Ensemble, performing and composing works for New Music Dublin. Jane’s interest in cross collaborative performance art involves working with many varying fields such as circus, theatre and the visual arts and she is delighted to have been commissioned to devise performances in these areas over the next year.

Jane has been awarded the Arts Council’s Bursary Award 2022 to work alongside violinist, Mayah Kadish and composer/performer, Olesya Zdorovetska to research improvisational techniques and performance art structures.
